Northern Italy, 2019

I am not a landscape photographer. Not really, anyway. But I won't pass up an opportunity to freeze my ass off in beautiful places.

The Dolomites really are quite something else. Any one of the dozen or so famous spots on their own would be a highlight for most other mountain ranges, even many countries. But here, you have one otherworldly spot after another, often within walking distance (okay, hiking distance). Some of them are just pretty, but others do feel like something more at home in Star Trek than National Geographic.
